Certificato di Autenticità LOA, COA o COA-R ?
The first advice we give is to always rely on the most important international certification bodies such as Beckett Authentication, JSA, ACOA, PSA/ DNA. and generally all members accredited UACC and AFTAL who, in addition to the sale of autographs, are authorized by the Associations of reference to operate in the field of certification.
What are the certificates that need further study?
-Lack of the image and the date of issue, date and period place of autograph and images that theoretically help to assess authenticity-
As much as the anti-removal holographic seal may have a value (which can still be replaced as missing serial number also on the document) the lack of the image together with the omission of the date makes the Certificate practically void.
It remains to define the amount of identical autographed objects that if it is huge already loses value in uniqueness always considered that the autograph is not a fake . The most counterfeits are certainly the most demanded by the market due to the importance of the author. In football obviously Pelé Maradona Messi Ronaldo are the most sought after and therefore also the most falsified ( See for example the objects purchased at the Museum of Madeira CR7 with its invoice that should prove the provenance and authenticity instead serious agencies and calligraphy experts do not authenticate because they are to 98% of cases FAKE ).
PELÉ
(29 dicembre 2022 )
Below I expose a fact after 29 December 2022 date of the death of Pelé on the market Memorabilia of autographs in all the markets of sale are comparse a huge number of meshes on sale ( pallets full ) all certified by quality bodies BECKETT PSA/ DNA that obviously suggest a purchase being practically all the same and in a quantity that suggests that the GOAT PELÉ has spent the last years of his life with trembling hand to sign stacks of shirts which It gives me many doubts about the real authenticity of autographs. In 2010 an autographed Pelé shirt had a value between 1000/1500 $ strangely after his death the value would have to increase, instead after his death the value and drastically dropped between 220/290 $. I conclude with the simple idea that an autograph of Pelé before 2010 has a greater authenticity value as well as differ from those products on sale with meshes practically all similar series , definitely a complete autograph EDSON PELÉ is preferable from the simple Pelé. ( being a very scholastic and easily falsified autograph)
Surely the market is inflated by a huge amount of autographs from Pelé but see that the value of a GOAT football is much lower than players like Pulisic Modric Haaland Benzema...
It seems rather absurd and inconsistent.
Conclusions,
a fake autograph and like a fake banknote, the big difference is that an autograph has a SENTIMENTAL component not only economic. A fake autograph and steal a DREAM of a fans .
